What Types of Mobile Ads Do an Estimated 39 Million Americans Recall?

Entertainment, technology, retail and gaming are the top categories of mobile ads recalled, according to a survey of 2,090 U.S adults aged 18 and over, conducted online in March 2011 by Harris Interactive on behalf of Greystripe, a division of ValueClick (Nasdaq: VCLK). Over 77 million Americans, including 60 percent of smartphone users, are estimated to recall seeing a mobile advertisement, the study found. Of those smartphone users who have seen an ad, 67 percent, or nearly 39 million Americans, recall the brand category.
